Stream conservation work

Our field crews have been working this summer to improve in stream habitat through chop-and-drop methods in two major watersheds in Maine. In tributaries to the Pleasant River on Appalachian Mountain Club land (some of the furthest inland sea-run fish habitat), and on tributaries to the Kennebago with Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust (landlocked salmon and brook trout habitat).

And here are some photos from the Kennebago work: https://photos.app.goo.gl/tjGm6sYaZeZPto7D8
